THE ROLE

As PMO intern, you will play a vital role in advancing the Project Management Office (PMO) functions for a pioneering company leading innovation in carbon capture technology. Your main responsibility during this internship will involve aiding the establishment of processes and governance as per QA/QC directives, while collaborating closely with stakeholders across departments including R&D, Product, Operations, and Customer Services.

Your key objectives will revolve around ensuring the scalability of Skytree by establishing a solid foundation for growth and ensuring alignment of project management practices with the overarching goals of the organization. This hands-on project offers an invaluable opportunity to gain experience in the expansion of startups as they transition towards commercialization as well as providing insight into one of the most dynamic sustainable businesses in the Netherlands.

YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

  • Documentation Management: Assisting in the creation, organization, and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant materials.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing project data to create reports and dashboards for project managers and stakeholders. This may involve using project management software or spreadsheet tools.

  • Quality Assurance: Reviewing project deliverables and documentation to ensure adherence to quality standards and project management methodologies.

  • Process Improvement: Contributing ideas and feedback for improving project management processes, tools, and templates based on observations and experiences during the internship.

  • Administrative Support: Providing general administrative support, such as filing documents, organizing meetings, and managing office supplies.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments or teams within the organization on cross-functional projects or initiatives as needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You are pursuing a degree in business administration, project management, engineering, information technology, or a related field would be advantageous.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and clients.

  • The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights is valuable for tasks such as project reporting, risk assessment, and process improvement.

  • Organizational Skills: Project management involves coordinating tasks, managing schedules, and tracking progress.

  • Technical Proficiency: familiarity with project management software tools such as Monday is a plus.

  • Interest in Project Management: A genuine interest in project management and a desire to learn and grow in the field.

  • Additionally, a willingness to learn, take on new challenges, and receive feedback is crucial.

  • You live in the Netherlands within commuting distance to Amsterdam.

* This position does not meet the criteria for employer sponsorship, therefore we are unable to support work permit or residency applications.
* Internship duration- 4-6 months, full-time for 40 hrs a week.

* Start date- May 2024.
